UMDONI MUNICIPALITY RECEIVES CLEAN AUDIT
REPORT

Umdoni Municipality has received a Clean Audit Report for financial year 2010/11.
This report was handed over to the Mayor by the Office of the Auditor-General on the
02 December 2011 and was presented to December Council meeting. The achievement of a Clean Audit Report is a clear indication that Umdoni Municipality has met the objective
of the “Operation Clean Audit 2014” as it was announced by the Department of Co-Operative
Governance and Traditional Affairs. This has revealed much dedication by Council,
Management and staff Umdoni Municipality would like to thank all the stakeholders that have made this success possible especially the Office of Auditor General, Department of Local
Government & Traditional Affairs – KZN, KZN Provincial Treasury, Audit Committee, Councillors and staff.
